Kaleb J. TerBush joined the firm in 2023. He was admitted to the Michigan bar in 2023. He represents and advises labor unions, individual workers, and employee benefit plans in a variety of matters.

He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2023. During law school, he worked as a Peggy Browning Fellow with the United Auto Workers International Union, externed with the Sugar Law Center for Economic & Social Justice, and was a student attorney in the Law School’s Workers’ Rights Clinic. He is a recipient of the Law School’s Robert S. Feldman Labor Law Award and Rockwell T. Gust Advocacy Award.

Prior to law school, Kaleb earned a bachelor’s degree with Distinction and Honors from the University of Michigan in 2017. He also earned a master’s degree in philosophy in 2019 and taught undergraduate philosophy courses before attending law school.

Kaleb is proud to be a former union member from a pro-union family. In law school, he was an active member of the Graduate Employees’ Organization (GEO), AFT Local 3550. In graduate school, he was a steward with the Teaching Assistant’s Union (TAU), AFT Local 1729. His parents were both public high school teachers and career-long Michigan Education Association members.
